So I'm assuming that your copy was sent to you as a friend of the press. And that information is straight from the source--the editor herself.

And for the record, many people were aware of the story of what happened last year as it was happening--and before there was a gag order in place. But I will not circulate any details other than my own, which are the ones I know for sure.stacebrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08132621567274427152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-829168697372726752.post-84164310754725207582008-08-27T12:28:00.000-04:002008-08-27T12:28:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.stacebrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08132621567274427152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-829168697372726752.post-89171123876496559782008-08-27T12:20:00.000-04:002008-08-27T12:20:00.000-04:00Dear Diane,What a terrible chapbook story! I'm curious how you know this story if there's a gag order? And of course, I'm curious about the details. I'll be posting again later today about this issue and will include your update.Diane Lockwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07614479152159652577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-829168697372726752.post-1404974108230544672008-08-26T20:26:00.000-04:002008-08-26T20:26:00.000-04:00And thanks for your own story! And thanks for your own story!stacebrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08132621567274427152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-829168697372726752.post-35797230908639414122008-08-26T20:14:00.000-04:002008-08-26T20:14:00.000-04:00Hi, Diane. Thanks so much for posting and linking t...Hi, Diane.

Thanks so much for posting and linking to this. I haven't commented on very many blogs, but I wanted to clarify something here. It is my understanding that there are a few rogue copies of Anne Caston's book that were sent to the contest entrants and were not recoupable, but on the whole, it does not exist. It was printed but was never distributed by the press. The full details are sealed under the gag order as part of their settlement, but I know for a fact that the promised thousand copies are not in circulation.

I hope that helps!stacebrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08132621567274427152noreply@blogger.com
